The mountain hotel in Jeseníky

Design of timber structures of mountain hotel is performed. The building is slab-on-ground, three – storeyed, plan size axially 36×15 m. Total build up area is about 567 m2. It’s constructionally timber skeleton structure of modern construction that consist of supporting members and joists in several meter grid. Wall and floor frames, that provide object stability, consist of components of elementary frame structure. The roof of building is designed as plate girder in modul grid with lengthwise purlin.

The sport hall in Luhačovice

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and assess a timber structure roof of a sport hall. The building is located to Luhačovice, Zlín district. Ground plan dimensions are 35 × 55 m, the height is 12 m. The main bearing element is created by a bent plate girder, that function as a double-hinge arc. The structural material includes glued laminated timber, solid timber and connecting steel elements. Spatial stability of structure is ensured by purlins and lateral steel stiffeners. The substructure is designed as strip foundations and anchor block made from concrete. Gable walls are supported by columns and horizontal lintels.

Reconstruction of the Building for Storage

The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is to design the extension of the steel structure of the storage hall. The task is to double the platform area from 18 x 18 m up to 36x18 m with the height of 7,5 m. It is required to use as much of existing profiles as possible. The structure is located in Znojmo. The original roof structure is made of truss girders with the segmently curved lower girdle. The span of main frame is 18 m and the axial distance of main frames is 6 m. All girders are pinned. In extended structure is used the plate girder. Spatial rigidity of the structure is made by wall and roof bracing. The static calculation of main load-bearing elements including joints and specific details was made for the structure. The technical report and drawings were specified by the supervisor. For design of the structure were used valid standards ČSN EN.

Bridge on the local road across the II/464 road

The Bachelor thesis deals with the local road bridge across the road II/464. Construction is proposed in three variants. The selected design was prestressed board length 24 meters, intended as a simple beam. Calculation of load is performed by software SCIA. The construction is evaluated according to current standards. Construction was calculated without the influence of temporal analysis.

The swimming hall in Ostrava

The goal of Master´s thesis is design and assessment of the swimming pool hall in Ostrava. Tha hall has two parts – swimming pool and other places for facility and free time activities.The hall has rectangle plan of dimension 30x47,4 and 15x45m. Three construction will be design. The steel truss girder wil be elaborate.
